Ingredients

  • 2 c. chopped chicken, cooked
  • 2 c. finely chopped celery
  • 2 cans undiluted cream of chicken soup
  • 4 Tbsp. onion, grated
  • 1 c. slivered almonds (can toast)
  • 1 c. mayonnaise or a little less
  • 6 hard boiled eggs, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 4 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. buttered Ritz cracker crumbs or crushed potato chips

Method

  • Mix all ingredients except cracker crumbs or chips.
  • Cook for 15 or 20 minutes.
  • Put cracker crumbs on top and bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 350° or until bubbly.
  • May be made ahead of time and cooked just before serving.
