Ingredients

  • 4 medium boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cayenne pepper
  • 1 garlic powder
  • 1 cajun or creole seasoning
  • 8 slice bacon of your choice
  • 1 cup brown sugar

Method

  • Cut thawed chicken breasts in half longways
  • Season both sides of chicken to your liking with all the spices.
  • You can add or take away whatever spices you choose
  • Wrap one slice of bacon tightly around each piece of chicken.
  • You can secure with a toothpick if needed
  • Roll each piece of bacon wrapped chicken into plate of brown sugar
  • Cook in a preheated 400 oven on a wire grill pan with a drip pan underneath to catch the grease
  • I like my chicken well done and bacon crispy.
  • Turn each piece of chicken and broil for about 5 minutes to get some extra crispiness if needed after baking.
