Ingredients
- 1 lb carrots, cut into matchsticks
- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tsp honey
- 2 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh chives
Method
- In a large skillet, combine carrots, onion, butter, chicken broth, honey and vinegar. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer, covered, for 6 mins. Remove lid and cook for 2 mins, until sauce reduces. Season. Serve garnished with chives.
