- 3/4 pound grnd beef
- 3/4 pound grnd pork
- 3/4 c. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 2 c. water
- 2 (6 ounce. each) cans tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pound lasagna
- 4 c. cottage cheese (2 lb.)
- 2 c. shredded Mozzarella (8 ounce.)
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 4 Large eggs
- 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
Method
- Cook beef, pork, onion, and garlic till browned; stir in water, tomato paste, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 30 min.
- Cook lasagna and drain well.
- Mix together cottage cheese, Mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, Large eggs, and parsley for filling.
- Pour 1/2 c. sauce over bottom of pan.
- Arrange in layers of filling mix, lasagna, and layer meat mix.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake till warm, covered, then let stand 10 min.
