Ingredients

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Egg, Yolk And White Separated
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 2 Tablespoons Stick Oleo Or Butter, Melted
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla

Method

  • Mix dry ingredients (flour through salt) in a medium bowl or batter bowl. Set aside.
  • Place egg white in a small bowl. Set aside.
  • Add yolk and milk into a medium-sized bowl and lightly beat. Add melted butter into wet ingredients and mix. Add wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Mix until moistened.
  • Beat egg white with a fork until frothy. Add it into the batter and gently mix to combine.
  • Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer's instructions. Using the recommended size scoop, pour batter into heated waffle iron and cook until golden brown. Remove cooked waffle from the iron and continue with the rest of the batter.
  • Enjoy with syrup, jams or chocolate chips!
