Ingredients

  • 16 ounces, weight Raw Almonds
  • 1/4 cups Tamari

Method

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  • Place raw almonds on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Cook almonds for 10 minutes in preheated oven.
  • Remove almonds from oven and pour into a large bowl.
  • Pour tamari over warm almonds.
  • Stir completely and soak in tamari for 20 minutes.
  • Stir 1-2 times as almonds soak.
  • Place soaked almonds back on parchment-paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Bake soaked almonds for 20 minutes.
  • When almonds come out of oven, they will still be a bit soft.
  • Almonds will firm up as they cool.
