Ingredients
- 2 to 2 1/2 lb. 70% lean hamburger
- 2 large onions, diced
- 1 green mango
- 1 small can tomato paste
- salt and pepper
- sugar
- 2 (29 oz. each) large cans tomato sauce
- 1 lb. spaghetti, cooked and drained
Method
- Brown hamburger, onions and mango in Teflon skillet.
- Drain off grease.
- Place in 5 or 6-quart covered pan.
- Add tomato paste and smooth with meat.
- Add one can of water from paste can, then add tomato sauce and water from rinsing out each tomato sauce can. Add salt, pepper and sugar.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer.
- Stirring frequently, cook for approximately 4 hours. Sprinkle to taste with chili powder.
