Ingredients
- 2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/3 c. warm water with a sprinkle of sugar
- 4 1/2 c. flour
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 c. warm water
Method
- Mix water, eggs, shortening, salt and sugar.
- Add yeast mixture.
- Add flour and mix well.
- Let rise once and punch down. Knead very little and form into rolls or loaves.
- Bake at 425° for 13 to 15 minutes.
