Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground round
- 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
- 3 Tbsp. catsup
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken gumbo soup
- 3 c. Bisquick mix (Jiffy is cheaper)
- 2/3 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
- 2 eggs
Method
- Cook and stir beef and onion in 10-inch skillet until brown; drain.
- Stir in catsup, mustard and soup.
- Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
- Simmer uncovered 5 minutes; stir occasionally.
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Generously grease 12-cup Bundt cake pan.
- Mix remaining ingredients; beat 30 seconds.
- Spread 2 cups of batter on bottom of pan and 2 inches up sides and center of pan.
- Spoon meat mix on that.
- Drop remaining batter by teaspoon 1/2 inch apart.
- Bake 25 minutes.
- Invert.
- Serves 6.
