Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground round
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (1/2 c.)
  • 3 Tbsp. catsup
  • 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed chicken gumbo soup
  • 3 c. Bisquick mix (Jiffy is cheaper)
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine, softened
  • 2 eggs

Method

  • Cook and stir beef and onion in 10-inch skillet until brown; drain.
  • Stir in catsup, mustard and soup.
  • Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
  • Simmer uncovered 5 minutes; stir occasionally.
  • Heat oven to 375°.
  • Generously grease 12-cup Bundt cake pan.
  • Mix remaining ingredients; beat 30 seconds.
  • Spread 2 cups of batter on bottom of pan and 2 inches up sides and center of pan.
  • Spoon meat mix on that.
  • Drop remaining batter by teaspoon 1/2 inch apart.
  • Bake 25 minutes.
  • Invert.
  • Serves 6.
