Ingredients
- 3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. cocoa
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 or 1 1/2 c. nuts
Method
- Mix the sugar and cocoa in saucepan.
- Add milk and stir until well
- blended
- and
- bring to a rolling boil.
- Turn down, but keep boiling
- and
- cook
- to soft ball stage.
- Remove from stove and add butter
- and vanilla.
- Let stand until butter is melted and mixture
- is partly cooled.
- Add nuts and stir until thick.
- Pour into buttered dish.
