Ingredients
- 8 hot dog buns
- 1/2 c. (1 stick) oleo, softened
- 1 tsp. crushed dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 tsp. crushed dried parsley
Method
- Split buns in quarters lengthwise.
- Set out overnight so they are easier to spread.
- Blend butter and herbs; spread on cut surfaces of buns.
- Preheat oven to 300°.
- Arrange buns on cookie sheet; bake for 45 to 60 minutes, until lightly browned.
- Makes 32 sticks.
- Store in covered container.
- Can be done in microwave.
