Ingredients

  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla pudding
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. grape or strawberry preserves
  • 1 c. heavy cream, whipped
  • 3/4 c. pineapple tidbits
  • 1/2 c. miniature marshmallows
  • 1/4 c. coarsely chopped toasted almonds
  • 1/4 c. diced maraschino cherries, well drained

Method

  • Prepare pudding according to package directions, using 1 1/2 cups milk.
  • Pour into a bowl and chill.
  • Blend strawberry or grape preserves into chilled pudding.
  • Gently fold in remaining ingredients.
  • Spoon into dessert dishes.
  • Chill until ready to serve.
  • If desired, garnish with whipped cream and a whole maraschino cherry.
