Ingredients
- 1 pkg. angel food cake mix
- 1 can Eagle Brand milk
- 1/3 c. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1 large Cool Whip
- 1 large can peaches
Method
- Bake cake and cool.
- Mix together milk, lemon juice and almond extract.
- Cut peaches into bite size pieces.
- When cake is cold, slice off top about 1-inch thick.
- Put to one side; be careful not to break apart.
- With sharp knife, cut down and around cake and carefully scoop out, leaving a trench.
- Combine whipped topping with first mixture and divide in half.
- To one half, add broken up cake pieces and peaches.
- Stuff into cake and replace top.
- Ice cake with remainder of mixture.
- Decorate with peach slices. Refrigerate immediately.
