Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. angel food cake mix
  • 1 can Eagle Brand milk
  • 1/3 c. lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 large Cool Whip
  • 1 large can peaches

Method

  • Bake cake and cool.
  • Mix together milk, lemon juice and almond extract.
  • Cut peaches into bite size pieces.
  • When cake is cold, slice off top about 1-inch thick.
  • Put to one side; be careful not to break apart.
  • With sharp knife, cut down and around cake and carefully scoop out, leaving a trench.
  • Combine whipped topping with first mixture and divide in half.
  • To one half, add broken up cake pieces and peaches.
  • Stuff into cake and replace top.
  • Ice cake with remainder of mixture.
  • Decorate with peach slices. Refrigerate immediately.
