Ingredients
- 1/2 head cabbage
- 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
- 1 bunch green onions, sliced fine
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 3 carrots, grated
Method
- Slice the cabbage into whisper-thin ribbons. Finely chop the green onions. Add both to a large bowl.
- Douse the cabbage and green onions with the cider vinegar, and toss.
- Drop the mayonnaise, salt and cayenne into the cabbage. Mix until blended.
- Gently fold the grated carrots into the cole slaw. You don't want to be too rough with this part or the carrots will bleed orange throughout the slaw, turning it a Creamsicle color.
