Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1/2 c. syrup (light or dark)
- 2 egg whites
Method
- Cook the sugar, syrup and water to firm ball stage.
- Pour 1/2 over egg whites; beat and set in pan of hot water.
- Cook other 1/2 mixture to hard ball stage.
- Pour over first half; beat until smooth.
- Pour in pan; mark into bars when cool.
