Ingredients

  • 1 c. crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 c. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1/4 c. vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/3 c. catsup
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt (optional)

Method

  • Mix together first 7 ingredients and cook, stirring, until thick.
  • Place chicken in baking dish or pan and sprinkle with salt.
  • Pour half of sauce over chicken.
  • Bake at 350° for 1/2 hour, uncovered.
  • Pour remaining sauce over chicken and cook, covered, for 1/2 hour.
  • Remove cover and cook 1/2 hour.
  • Serves 4 to 6.
