Ingredients

  • 1 large bag frozen hash browns
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 pt. sour cream
  • 1 Tbsp. onion, diced
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 3/4 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 3 to 4 Tbsp. butter, melted
  • paprika

Method

  • Combine the first 7 ingredients and put into a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Pour melted butter on top; cover with cheese.
  • Top with paprika.
  • Bake in oven at 300° for 1 1/2 hours.
  • If cheese starts to get too brown, cover with foil.
  • Serves 10 to 12.
  • Can be frozen.
