Ingredients

  • 1 (32 oz.) pkg. thawed hash brown potatoes
  • 1/2 c. melted butter
  • 1 (10 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 12 oz. grated American cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) sour cream
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • 1/2 small onion, diced
  • 1 c. crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1/4 c. melted butter

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Place thawed potatoes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
  • Combine next 7 ingredients; pour over potatoes.
  • Top with crushed crackers and drizzle with 1/4 cup melted butter. Bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
