Ingredients
- 2 c. beets, drained
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1/4 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
Method
- Make sauce of sugar, water, vinegar and flour. Add onion and cook slowly for 5 minutes. Add beets and simmer for 30 minutes.
