Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (8 oz.) container sour cream
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 small can mushrooms
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 small onion

Method

  • Partly brown hamburger meat and onion in skillet.
  • Pour off excess fat.
  • Add margarine and mushrooms and finish browning.
  • Then add salt, garlic salt, pepper and flour.
  • Mix well for about 5 minutes.
  • Add can cream of chicken soup; stir for 2 or 3 minutes, until completely mixed.
  • Reduce heat and let simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Then add sour cream and stir until completely mixed and warmed through.
  • Great over noodles or rice.
