Ingredients
- 1 lb. hamburger or ground chuck
- 5 potatoes, diced
- 4 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- salt to taste
- pepper to taste
- garlic powder to taste
Method
- Brown hamburger.
- Drain fat from hamburger.
- Add the diced potatoes, sliced carrots and diced onion to the hamburger.
- Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder (not garlic salt).
- Add water to just cover veggies.
- Cover and simmer until veggies are tender and broth has thickened.
- Serve with salad and hot rolls.
