Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1/2 c. chopped onions
  • 1 large can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 c. chopped carrots
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
  • 1/2 c. fine egg noodles, broken into pieces

Method

  • Brown ground beef with onions; add tomatoes and tomato soup thinned with 2 cups water and simmer slowly for 2 hours.
  • Add celery, carrots, green pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
  • Add chopped noodles and cook 1 hour longer.
  • If too thick, add water.
