- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. chopped onions
- 1 large can stewed tomatoes
- 1 can tomato soup
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped carrots
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
- 1/2 c. fine egg noodles, broken into pieces
Method
- Brown ground beef with onions; add tomatoes and tomato soup thinned with 2 cups water and simmer slowly for 2 hours.
- Add celery, carrots, green pepper, salt, Worcestershire sauce and soy sauce.
- Add chopped noodles and cook 1 hour longer.
- If too thick, add water.
