Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 c. minced onion
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (4 oz.) pkg. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano

Method

  • Combine beef, egg, garlic salt, onion and 2 tablespoons tomato sauce. Flatten out mixture to line bottom and sides of large nonstick pie plate.
  • Bake in 450° oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until brown.
  • Remove from oven and pour on remaining tomato sauce. Sprinkle with cheese and oregano and return to oven for 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Cut in 6 pie shaped pieces.
