Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 medium onion
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 (1 lb.) can cut green beans
  • 1 can condensed tomato soup
  • 5 medium potatoes, cooked
  • 1/2 c. warm milk
  • 1 beaten egg

Method

  • Lightly brown meat.
  • Add onion; cook until tender.
  • Add seasoning, beans and soup.
  • Pour into greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  • Mash hot potatoes; add milk and egg.
  • Add seasoning. Drop in mounds over meat.
  • If desired, sprinkle with 1/2 cup of shredded process cheese.
  • Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
