Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1 large carrot, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
  • 2 c. hot water
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. beef bouillon dry (instant)
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 medium stalk celery, chopped
  • 1 (16 oz.) can undrained stewed tomatoes
  • 1 c. hot water

Method

  • Crumble hamburger into 3-quart microwave dish.
  • Add carrot, onion and garlic.
  • Cook 4 minutes and stir.
  • Cook 3 to 4 minutes longer and drain.
  • Stir in remaining ingredients, except 1 cup water.
  • Cover and cook.
  • Stir every 6 minutes until vegetables and macaroni are tender.
