Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 soup cans water
  • 1/2 c. uncooked rice (not Minute rice)
  • 4 Tbsp. teriyaki or soy sauce
  • chow mein noodles

Method

  • Saute onion and ground beef.
  • Mix with the rest of the ingredients except noodles.
  • Pour into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
  • Take pan from oven and sprinkle with a 6-ounce can of chow mein noodles.
  • Return to oven and bake 10 minutes more.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
