Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. fat
- 3 medium potatoes, sliced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. grated cheese (optional)
- 2 medium onions, sliced
Method
- Season meat with salt, brown in hot fat.
- Arrange alternate layers, onions, potatoes and meat in a 2-quart casserole.
- Pour soup over layers.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Sprinkle cheese over casserole about 10 minutes before it's done, if desired. Makes 6 servings.
