Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. cubed, smoked ham
  • 2 peeled, chopped carrots
  • 1 chopped, medium onion
  • 8 oz. shredded Colby cheese
  • 8 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 pkg. fettucini noodles
  • 1 head broccoli
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. salt

Method

  • In a large pot, boil carrots, chopped broccoli and chopped cauliflower in water; boil until tender-crisp.
  • In saucepan, combine ham, onion, milk and cheeses.
  • Simmer until cheeses are melted.
  • If too thick, add additional milk.
  • Drain vegetables and place in mixing bowl.
  • Use large pot to boil 3 quarts of water and cook noodles 7 to 8 minutes.
  • Drain.
  • Add to mixing bowl; cover with meat mixture and stir thoroughly.
  • Serve.
