Ingredients

  • 4 medium avocado
  • 1/2 small onion, chopped
  • 1 large Roma tomato, sliced into chunks
  • 1 tsp. onion salt
  • 1 tsp. crushed red pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. garlic
  • 4 Tbsp. lemon juice

Method

  • Peel and pit avocados, reserving one pit.
  • Mash avocados and add onions and tomatoes.
  • Add remaining ingredients and stir. Place reserved avocado pit in center of mixture and place in refrigerator for 1 hour to blend spices.
  • Use plastic wrap to cover instead of foil.
  • Foil will brown the mixture.
  • Discard the pit and serve immediately.
