Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • 2 Tbsp. onion, minced
  • 1 cube beef bouillon, dissolved in 1 c. water
  • 2 medium green pepper, sliced
  • 1 medium yellow pepper, sliced
  • 2 cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tsp. soy sauce

Method

  • Cut up beef into strips or cubes and brown in cooking oil along with onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Add beef bouillon water and simmer 10 minutes. Add pepper slices and simmer another 5 to 10 minutes. Add tomatoes (undrained) and simmer 5 more minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in 1/4 cup water, along with soy sauce. Add to other ingredients to thicken.
