Ingredients

  • 1 lb. round steak
  • 1/4 c. soy sauce
  • 1 c. green onions, sliced
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 2 tomatoes, wedged
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 c. water

Method

  • Cut beef into thin strips. Combine soy sauce, garlic and ginger.
  • Add beef.
  • Toss and set aside.
  • Heat oil in wok.
  • Add beef and toss over high heat until browned. Add vegetables and cook 10 minutes.
  • Mix cornstarch with water and add to beef.
  • Stir and cook until thickened.
  • Add tomato wedges.
