Ingredients
- 1 (10 oz.) frozen baby limas
- 1 whole onion
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
Method
- Boil lima beans and whole onion until beans are tender. Drain; chop onion and return to beans.
- Add green pepper, celery and tomato sauce.
- Mix and pour into casserole.
- Top with raw bacon slices.
- Bake uncovered at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes, watching that bacon does not burn.
- Serves 4 (can be doubled).
