Ingredients
- 2 lb. steak
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, pressed
- 1/2 tsp. red chili powder
- 2 (16 oz.) cans pinto beans
- 1 (1 lb.) chopped tomatoes
- 5 large potatoes, cubed
- 1 (6 oz.) hot green chiles
- 1 tsp. vinegar
- 4 c. water
- 5 beef bouillon cubes
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Saute onions while cutting meat into small pieces.
- Brown meat and onions in a little oil, just until meat is grayish.
- Put all ingredients in big pot with onion and meat.
- Cover and simmer 5 to 6 hours.
- Stir often.
- Great with flour tortillas.
