Ingredients

  • 2 or 3 lb. hamburger meat
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 can green chili peppers
  • 1 can enchilada sauce
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can water
  • corn tortillas, fried
  • grated Cheddar cheese

Method

  • Brown meat and onions; drain. Add green chilies and enchilada sauce. In separate pan, combine soups and water; bring to a boil. Lay fried tortillas (6) in bottom of greased casserole dish. Layer meat mixture, cheese and soup mix. Then next 6 tortillas and meat, cheese and soup. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
