- 2 or 3 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 medium onion
- 1 can green chili peppers
- 1 can enchilada sauce
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can water
- corn tortillas, fried
- grated Cheddar cheese
Method
- Brown meat and onions; drain. Add green chilies and enchilada sauce. In separate pan, combine soups and water; bring to a boil. Lay fried tortillas (6) in bottom of greased casserole dish. Layer meat mixture, cheese and soup mix. Then next 6 tortillas and meat, cheese and soup. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.
