Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 pound beef, sirloin steak cut in thin strips
- 1 large onions cut in wedges
- 1 each sweet red bell peppers cut in strips
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup red wine
- 1 package demi-glace
- 1 tablespoon orange zest grated
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano dried
Method
- In a large skillet heat oil over med-high heat.
- Add beef and onion, stir fry 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add peppers and continue to cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes.
- Stir in water and red wine, sauce mix, orange rind, and oregano.
- Bring to boil, stirring constantly.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve on couscous or rice, garnish with chopped parsley.
