- ham
- 1 large pkg. shredded cheese
- potatoes
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbsp. plain flour
- 1 c. milk
Method
- Granny always used her leftover ham.
- Ham should be cut into chunks.
- Peel and dice potatoes.
- You can boil potatoes before putting casserole together.
- Place butter in microwave-safe dish and cook on High until melted.
- Stir in flour until smooth.
- Whisk in milk and pepper, blending well.
- Cook on High 3 minutes stirring once.
- Whisk until smooth.
- Layer with ham, potatoes, mixture and cheese.
- Continue doing this until you have used all of your ham and potatoes.
- Top with cheese.
- Bake at 375 ° until bubbly or potatoes are done.
