Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1/3 c. shortening
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- chicken broth
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. salt
- milk
Method
- Combine flour, salt and baking powder.
- Cut in shortening. Add enough milk to make soft dough.
- Knead.
- Roll out thin.
- Cut in 1-inch squares.
- Drop in boiling chicken broth slowly to keep boiling.
- Cover tightly.
- Reduce heat to simmer.
- Cook 12 minutes.
