Ingredients

  • 3 pound ribs or possibly back bones
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 tbsp. chopped onion
  • 1 c. tomato puree
  • 3/4 c. water
  • 3 tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili pwdr
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Dash of grnd cloves

Method

  • RIBS: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Brown the ribs in the oven.
  • Add in 1/2 c. water and 1 tsp.
  • salt.
  • Cover and bake for 20 min.
  • SAUCE: In a saucepan, mix together the onion, tomato puree, 3/4 c. water, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp.
  • salt, paprika, chili pwdr, pepper, cinnamon, and cloves.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Pour sauce over the ribs and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min.
