Ingredients

  • 2 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 small can milk (evaporated)
  • 1 c. chopped Brazil nuts
  • 1 c. English walnuts
  • 1/2 lb. candied cherries
  • 1 box seedless raisins
  • 1 box graham crackers
  • 16 oz. large marshmallows
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Method

  • Crush graham crackers and place in a large bowl. Add nuts, cherries, raisins and spices to crackers.
  • Put milk and marshmallows in a large pot and heat slowly (do not boil) until marshmallows are melted. Stir to keep from sticking.
  • Pour into cracker mixture and mix with hands.
  • (Make sure nuts and cherries are not knotted up.)
  • Put this into a casserole dish lined with wax paper.
  • Press mixture until solid.
  • Put in refrigerator overnight.
  • Decorate with nuts and cherries.
