Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 4 tsp. cocoa
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 c. milk
- 5 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 5 Tbsp. butter (level), softened
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Cook over slow heat the sugar, cocoa, flour, syrup and milk until it forms a soft ball when tried in cold water.
- Stir only until sugar is melted.
- Remove from heat; add butter and vanilla. Let stand a few minutes.
- Beat until thick and creamy.
- Pour into buttered pan.
- Cut into pieces while still warm and soft.
