Ingredients
- 1 envelope plain gelatin
- 2 eggs, separated
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. cold water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 c. whipped topping
- 12 graham crackers, crushed
- 3 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 4 Tbsp. melted butter
Method
- Put gelatin in cold water and let stand while egg yolks, sugar, milk and salt are being cooked to a custard.
- Remove from heat, add gelatin, stirring until dissolved and set aside to cool. Add vanilla and beaten egg whites to cooled custard.
- Fold in whipped topping.
- Crumble graham crackers.
- Mix with brown sugar and butter.
