- 3 to 3 1/2 lb. chicken, cooked and cubed (reserve broth: 1 c. for sauce and rest to boil spaghetti)
- 8 oz. fresh mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 8 oz. spaghetti
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- 4 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. half and half cream
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1/8 c. lemon juice
- 1/3 c. white wine
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
Method
- For sauce:
- Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in saucepan.
- Add flour and stir until smooth.
- Add half and half and 1 cup chicken broth.
- Cook and stir until smooth.
- Add mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, wine, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
