Ingredients

  • 3 to 3 1/2 lb. chicken, cooked and cubed (reserve broth: 1 c. for sauce and rest to boil spaghetti)
  • 8 oz. fresh mushrooms
  • 1 Tbsp. butter
  • 8 oz. spaghetti
  • 4 Tbsp. butter
  • 4 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. half and half cream
  • 1 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 1 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1/8 c. lemon juice
  • 1/3 c. white wine
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper

Method

  • For sauce:
  • Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in saucepan.
  • Add flour and stir until smooth.
  • Add half and half and 1 cup chicken broth.
  • Cook and stir until smooth.
  • Add mayonnaise, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, wine, garlic powder and cayenne pepper.
