Ingredients
- 2 c. self-rising corn meal
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
Method
- Combine.
- Mix well.
- Carefully drop by tablespoonfuls into deep hot oil.
- Cook only a few at a time, turning once.
- Fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Makes about 2 dozen.
