Ingredients

  • 2 halibut steaks
  • 2 T. olive oil.
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped roasted pecans
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 t. lemon zest
  • 2 lemon wedges
  • 2 T. chopped parsley
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Saute onions and garlic in butter over medium heat until onions are tender. Add pecans and lemon zest, cooking for 1 minute. Stir in parsely and set aside to keep warm.
  • Saute halibut steaks in olive oil over medium heat until golden on both sides. Season with salt and pepper. Top with pecan mixture and garnish with parsely and lemon wedge. Serve.
