Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 c. onion rings
- 1/2 lb. Velveeta, cubed
- 1/4 c. milk
- 2 (9 oz. each) pkg. whole green beans, thawed and drained
- dash of pepper
- 1/2 c. crushed buttery crackers
Method
- Heat oven to 350°.
- Fry bacon until crisp; remove from skillet.
- Drain fat, reserving 1 tablespoon.
- Cook and stir onion in reserved fat.
- Add Velveeta and milk; stir until cheese is melted.
- Crumble bacon.
- Add bacon, beans and pepper to skillet; mix lightly.
- Spoon into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Top with cracker crumbs. Bake 15 minutes.
