Ingredients

  • 6 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 4 oz. goat cheese (Feta)
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 oz. Prosciutto or baked ham, chopped
  • 1/3 c. fresh chopped parsley
  • 2 small minced garlic cloves
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 large pizza dough
  • olive oil

Method

  • Preheat oven to 400°.
  • In medium bowl, combine all ingredients, except dough and oil.
  • Spoon filling onto 1/2 of dough circle within 1 inch of edge.
  • Moisten edge with water; fold dough over the filling to make edges meet.
  • Roll edges to seal. Brush dough with olive oil.
  • Bake for 15 to 18 minutes at 400°. Reduce heat to 375°; bake 10 to 15 minutes more, or until golden brown.
  • Yields 1 large Calzone, enough for 2 generous portions.
