Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- dash of salt
- 9 medium peaches
- 1/3 c. water
- baked pie shell
Method
- In small saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
- Stir in 3 medium peeled and mashed peaches and water.
- Cook until thickened and bubbly.
- Cook 2 minutes, remove from heat.
- Cover surface with plastic wrap; cool.
- Spread 1/4 cup mixture in bottom of baked pie shell, reserve 1/3 cup of the mixture; set aside.
