Ingredients
- 2 c. raisins
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 2 c. water
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
Method
- In saucepan, bring raisins and 1 3/4 cups water to boil for 5 minutes.
- Mix remaining water with brown sugar, cornstarch, cinnamon and salt.
- Stir into raisin mixture and return to boiling.
- Remove from heat and add vinegar, salt and butter.
- Pour into unbaked 9 to 10-inch pie crust.
- Add top crust and bake at 375° for 25 minutes.
