Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups Butter
  • 1/2 cups Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cups Molasses
  • 2 whole Eggs
  • 1-1/4 cup Milk
  • 2 cups Flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoons Salt

Method

  • Melt butter and mix with brown sugar and molasses. Add eggs and milk. Combine until incorporated. Add all dry ingredients and mix until smooth. Pour onto hot greased waffle iron and cook until nicely browned.
  • I love to serve these with fresh bananas and whipped cream. Syrup if you like. These are so good, and it makes your house smell wonderful. We serve these especially during the holidays, but I think a gingerbread waffle in June is wonderful!
