Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger meat
  • 1 ginger (peeled and finely chopped)
  • 1 onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 (4 ounce) can tomato paste

Method

  • Mix together the hamburger meat, ginger, onion and corriander.
  • Make into balls.
  • Bring to a boil 2 cups of olive oil and 2 cups of water.
  • Add balls to the boiling water/oil.
  • Reduce heat to simmer.
  • Cook balls for about 3 hours or until liquid is almost absorbed by the balls.
  • Add can of tomato paste and mix in with remaining liquid.
  • Serve with rice.
